Abandoned Form Submission Audience
An abandoned form submission audience captures users who began filling out a form but did not complete the submission within a given time window. This segment is useful for retargeting lead generation campaigns — re-engaging prospects who showed intent but dropped off before converting.

Audience Logic
Section titled “Audience Logic”| Condition | Event | Occurrence | Time Frame |

Users who triggered a form start event but have no corresponding form submission event within the same 30-day window are included in this audience.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”Navigate to Audiences → Create a Custom Audience.
Condition 1 — Form Started
Section titled “Condition 1 — Form Started”- Under By Event, select
form_start. - Set occurrence to Occurred.
- Set the date range to Dynamic — in the last 30 days.
Condition 2 — Form Submission Not Occurred
Section titled “Condition 2 — Form Submission Not Occurred”- Click Add another action and select AND as the conditional operator.
- Under By Event, select
form_submission. - Set occurrence to Not Occurred.
- Set the date range to Dynamic — in the last 30 days.
Run and Save
Section titled “Run and Save”- Click Run Query to preview the audience count.
- Click Save & Active.
- Enter an audience name in lowercase with underscores (e.g.,
abandoned_form_30d). - Set a Refresh Interval — recommended 1 day for the first 3 days, then adjust based on audience size and event consumption.
- Check Agree & Continue and click Save & Active.
