Similarly, on Google Adwords, you will have higher attribution on the conversion because we store all the cookie ids including Gclid id. This helps improve the reporting and attribution.

The Step-by-Step Guide to Configuring Events in Systeme.io

Step 1: Sign In to CustomerLabs

  • Log in to CustomerLabs
  • Copy the tracking code from the homepage.

Step 2: Sign In to Systeme.io Platform

  • Log in to your account and navigate to the home page

Step 3: Choose the Funnel Setup:

  • Select the funnel where you want to track events.
  • For this guide, we have chosen the VSL Main Funnel as an example.
  • Once you select the funnel, you will be directed to a page that displays all the stages of the funnel. Depending on your needs, you can complete actions such as a purchase or form submission at various points within the funnel.
  • You will be redirected to a new page. Click on Settings at the top, then scroll down to the Tracking section at the bottom. Click on Edit Header Code and paste the tracking code from CustomerLabs across all stages of funnel stages

Step 4: Event Configuration:

  • In this example, I am selecting the checkout form from the funnel steps to track events such as Checkout The corresponding tracking code is provided below.
  • For each funnel, the code may vary. Please reach out to us at [email protected], and we’ll assist you.
  • Based on your funnel setup, you will need to update the code accordingly, reference code for tracking events like Page View, Product View, Add to Cart, Checkout, and Purchase has been included.
  • Click on Settings at the top, then scroll to the Tracking section at the bottom. Click Edit Footer Code and paste the event configuration script into the footer section.

Step 5: Testing the Events

To begin auditing events, ensure your website is connected to CustomerLabs. Then, follow these steps to track actions on your website

  • Right-click on your browser.
  • Select Inspect Element and go to the Network tab.
  • In the search bar, enter “io.” or “cl” and perform actions on your website or funnel (e.g.,

 submit a form, make a purchase, etc.).

  • Monitor the network section for triggering events.
  • Refer to the screenshot below for reference.
  • You can view the list of events tracked for your funnel or website in CustomerLabs by navigating to Customers → Monitoring → Events Manager.
